Our first experiment with stop-motion and greenscreen, the pilot episode taught us the economy of movement and the value of a well-lit set.

The pilot features a MOC (My Own Creation) by Chris Wunz of the Clone Wars-era Heavy Cannon. The cannon has a working worm-gear which allowed us to easily animate the cannon movements in the short.
