The Cumberland Youth Commission is hosted its first ever Youth Speak Out on March 25, 2009, in the Cumberland High School Auditorium. Led by youth, for the youth, all Cumberland residents attending high school and middle school were invited to voice their opinions on issues that affect youth.

Established in the Spring of 2007, the CYC is a youth organization dedicated to affecting positive change within Cumberland, RI. We believe that youth voice provides a unique and powerful perspective on town issues. Committed to sharing our suggestions, we believe that our ideas will serve to edify the town.
