I really like this! I love putting pictures to music like this and I also love how random everything is. This is really great!

    I love this video.
I like how you gave it motion with similar pictures rather than all the pictures being random like usual photo-videos are.
  • Blake Whitman staff 11 months ago
yeah, i used every photo so a few were of the same subject. I liked how it gave it motion and more context.

Awesome man. It's actually a real interesting concept to just show every picture that you've taken.

    I might do it.

Clever, turn your photo-album into a video work. Nice. p.s. Love Hoppipolla... Sigur Ros are proving to be quite popular on Vimeo, or is it just me?

I like the way you didn't present every photo with the same amount of time in between. Thoose pauses really made the video viewable, something which always isn't the case witht these types of projects.

i live for these voyeuristic insight into people's lives.

blue suit was definitely a good life choice.

    I really like this video.
What did you use to make this?
  • Blake Whitman staff 3 months ago
    Final Cut Pro
  • Cody Jensen 3 months ago
Is there a setting that will put your photos on the time line as .10 seconds rather than 3 seconds? or did you manually trim all of them?
  • Blake Whitman staff 3 months ago
right click on any photo, you will see the duration. Set the duration to the desired interval. Copy that clip. Then 'paste attributes' to all the other photos, checking only 'basic motion'. Then all the photos will become the same length automagically.

This shortcut also works for applying effects, color grading, etc. You can decide what attributes of a certain clip you would like copied to other clips. This saves TONS of time.
  • Cody Jensen 3 months ago
    Wow, Thanks!!

    "automagically" - I like that.
  • Cody Jensen 3 months ago
Ok, Does this only work in Final Cut Pro? Cause I tried it in Premiere Pro and then in Final Cut Express and it didn't work. It did paste the effects and scale but not clip duration.
  • Blake Whitman staff 3 months ago
not sure, make sure to only paste the attributes that you want/need. for duration its 'basic motion' I believe... but FCE and Adobe could be different. Search 'paste attributes' in Help and see what you come up with.
  • Cody Jensen 3 months ago
Figured it out in a way, I found the preference for image duration. Some forums that I read said that premiere doesn't copy the clip duration...

    Here is mine.
