In febuary 2012, BMW took ownership of domestic flights between Copenhagen and Aalborg. The main goal was to offer consumers, within the target group, the possibility to test drive the new BMW 3-series or 1-series on their way to a meeting from the airport instead of taking public transportation or taking a taxi.

The whole idea was to bring test drives to where the consumer was instead of forcing the consumer to a car dealership.
