That was great. Was the sound recorded while making the video? I'd love to hear the kid's version.

They actually did not grab the kids sound in a useful way. One of the cameras was capturing some of the takes but to be honest, it was mostly difficult to listen to. The video begins with a small piece of the class warming up. To their defense the kids only had an hour before the shoot to practice.

i really love this video. kids always seem to operate on a different level of purity when it comes to things like concentration and experiencing joy and i think you captured that really well. great job. thanks for sharing this.

Wow. I bought "Directions" a few years ago, and this was one of my favorite videos. The kids on the xylophones are my favorite part.

I've seen some of Autumn de Wilde's other music videos before, and I must say all of you guys have knack for producing really beautiful stuff. Keep up the good work!

Nice! Bit unfocused at places though, was that artistic choice?

"They actually did not grab the kids sound in a useful way."
So who did the music that we hear here? And what did the kids play, just a few notes from the piece?

Can I download this somewhere, at maybe slightly higher quality?

I love DCfC but don't ever see their music videos unless I look them up only. Glad I stumbled upon it today though.

The singer is adorable. Totally brings me back to playing band at school when I was little.
