Great vid, Kevin. Getting the temperature of the water right is the hardest part. I just heat the water 'til it boils...probably not a good idea though.

If you drink a lot of tea, particularly tea that steeps at the same temperature, I can't say enough about the Zojirushi Electric Dispensers. Keeps hot water at a consistent temperature whenever you need it.

Ladies be careful with the lighter teas. Green tea intake is correlated with lower serum estradiol (estrogen) as I believe it has a anti-aromatase effect.

Really looking forward to this series, stopped drinking sodas about 2 years ago and since I dont drink alcohol either my drink options are limited. Just had my first cup of oolong at a tea shop the other day and was instantly in love, hope to get some great suggestions from you!

Nice video. I'd love to hear more about white teas; I heard Silver Needles stand vertical when you steep them in a pot, which is kind of cool!

Nice tutorial. My favorite tea source is uptontea.com They have a fine informative print catalog and OK website. Tea does not have to be fancy to be enjoyed. Even Red Rose in bags from the grocery store makes a fine cup.

Nice job, Kevin. Thanks for helping to spread the word. My favorite tea sites, for ordering exquisite green, oolong, or black teas: teatrekker.com and specialteas.com.

The tea revolution lives on. look me up if you need an east coast tea guy. There's quality tea and crap out there, and everyone needs to know how to distinguish. Join me at walkerteareview.com

Excellent introduction! Not so sure about the nerdy teapot... I think that the first tea drinkers a 1000 years ago had better rules of thumb. Keep those videos coming though ;)
