After reading about making my own bike rig on PhotoJojo, I thought I'd test out their other suggestion of using a Gorrillapod. Tried it out with a Sanyo Xacti, and as soon as I clicked it in to the mount, I knew what the problem was going to be - too much lateral movement due to the height of the camera. In fact, there was too much movement all over the place.
By speeding up the clip, the ride looks less jerky/bumpy - in its raw state, you pretty much want to throw up. This ain't much better on the vomit meter.
Test complete: I would rate it mildy successful
