what are the songs you used?
  • MikeL plus 2 years ago
The song is "Polyoctopus One Less Thing" by the band The Central Standards. They are a Denton band that is no longer together :(
  • rayhan 2 years ago
Did some research, it seems like Polyoctopus is the group's name, and "One Less Thing" is the track.. released on a compilation called "The Central Standards" with other artists. Also, the bassline is reaaally similar to the one on Koop's "Waltz for Koop" but I think it's a coincidence. Time to take a nap.
  • Travis Lehman 2 years ago
Here's an iTunes link to the compilation that features the song:

    itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?id=171791065&s=143441
  • Robin Lundgren 1 year ago
It sounds like a version of the bassline from John Coltrane's track "Greensleeves" on the "Africa/Brass" album. (replying to old comments ftw?)

Nice work, I've never seen tricks done on a road bike before. Also, what kind of camera was used, and was a steadycam used? I'm curious. I go to UNT also! Wish I had seen you filming, that would have been spiffy. Really nice editing on the Campus Theatre sign, I have no clue how you did that, unless it was frame by frame.
  •
  • David Leith 2 years ago
that was amazing. all the different shots of their tricks, the ones on the bridge, the close ups of the cat and book were all so well done. just so awesome.
  •
  • Eric E. Anderson 2 years ago
Haven't seen a better biking video here yet... super-ultra-mega well done. The sign, cat and book were perfect interludes to the business of biking awesomeness.

    WOW! Amazing work!
    The cinematography is great!

I know you shot the vid on a pmw-ex1, but it looks so different from the "winch_skating" video, concerning the colours etc.
    so
did you use any filter or anything?

    please let me know,
    again
    wow !
  • MikeL plus 2 years ago
Thanks for the comment! I colored the two videos very differently in post and that is probably the difference you are seeing. Also, the day I did the winch_skating video I was experimenting with the camera a lot and and over exposing areas of the shot.

Watch it over and over againn!

Also, I've heard that the cards and everything in the spokes represent how many rides you've been on.

    is that true or what?
why do you guys have those things in your spokes?

HI guys! The video is Fab, my man showed me this and I was blown away..the video, the music, the bike tricks, WOW! I want to clear up the music mess though....sorry hubby I have to give you proper props ; )
It's my husband Jeremy Schroer's song. It's 1 song the whole time named "one less thing" created by Jeremy then going by the artist name Polyoctopus. He made it for the comp Central Standards Volume 1. There is a Volume 2 that he (& the other artists) are on, as well as a CD version that has an exrtra song of his on it. He currently goes by the artist name No2self as a DJ, multi faceted musician, singer, freestyle artist, and producer. He's is an amazing self taught musician, producer, DJ, Husband, bartender. He's sexy as all hell and all mine! Love you baby!
