Having been a Nikon fanboy for over 30 years, I was so excited to see the introduction of D800 and D4 with so many legitimate video features included. And I was lucky enough to be given an opportunity to test out a production model of D4 for a week.

The first test I've done was to shoot side by side with my current set of gears; 5D2 & GH2.

The result, however, was unexpectedly disappointing. Though the color reproduction of D4 felt much accurate than the two, I had trouble focusing anywhere in the frame for the whole time. And the footage I got was actually way too soft... or should I say, blurry and muddy.
