A video of an interactive visualization program I made with Processing, an open-source programming language. It depicts space debris found in our atmosphere, orbiting around the earth. Official data from NASA—a catalog of all of the debris measured each year from 1959 to 2011—is plotted as points in space using a modified version of Aaron Koblin's Simple Radiohead Scene Viewer.

*NOTE* as of now, since the script uses OpenGL, it cannot run as an applet on the internet but some day hopefully soon, it will.
