This is amazing! I can't wait to schedule my trip on one of these puppies. I read about the soviet chopper this thing was modelled off of in Science Illustrated a few weeks ago.....schaweet.

Nice Video (and graphics on your site)... its just a shame the concept is fake! (i.e. the photos lifted from yotel.com)

    I agee!

But it says on their site that they're in partnership with yotel, so why wouldn't the rooms look the same? hotelicopter.com/cabins-amenities/

It says "Photos of the first test flight of the Hotelicopter", but the videos and images are clearly computer generated.

    Nice 3Ds Max/Maya work anyway! ;)

Is this some April Fools thing? looks totally fake, has it been certified to fly?

The video and the stills are clearly CGI but the site does say that they are partnering with Yotel. Maybe the thing isn't working right yet....I'm not sure I want to be the first one on it!

The whole thing seems real and I heard about it on Gizmodo, but why does it look computer generated?

    It's not even april yet.
And I know its a hoax but... Why not?
I`m pretty sure this is possible.
The Mil Mi-26 helicopter can carry up to 20 tons.
I think it`d be drating sweet havin a floatin room.

nice chop job dude. there is only one helicopter like that in the world and it is in a museum.

even if it was possible, where the f@# would you go? and why would you need a room for a short flight? it's not like you're going to fly overseas in heli.

Why would anyone want to be trapped in a loud, tiny hotel room with nothing to do and nowhere to go? What's the point? Oooh, we're flying... what is this 1920? But wait! There is internet access! The epitome of luxurious amenities. What a joke.

Nice 3D, but the animation was just awful and very irrealistic. Not to mention that if this would have been real, the camera movements on the inside would have actually shown some depth to the image, whilst this looked like some cheap movements used in a slideshow. There is no truth in this video.
