During the summer of 2011, six students from Fleming College participated in a six week tropical field ecology course at Cano Palma Biological Station. One of the projects they assisted with examined the morphology of a variety of snake species. Watch an introductory presentation provided by Dr. Todd Lewis, the station manager (August 2010-April 2012) and see how snakes are processed for data collection. Things get particularly interesting during the data collection when the crew is working with a venomous Allen's coral snake.
