For two weeks in March, the Human Rights Consortium joined a group of volunteers (Belfast Abolition Collective) as they travelled to events and locations around Northern Ireland to talk about Human Trafficking.
We also spoke to local politicians as well as professionals in the field, in the hope of getting a better idea around what is happening on our streets.
Unfortunately, it is clear that Human Trafficking is widespread and a growing problem in Northern Ireland.
A Northern Ireland Bill of Rights could help combat this problem by holding Government responsible and accountable.
