16-year-old Amber was diagnosed with stage four brain cancer - Glioblastoma Multiforme on November 2, 2011. Glioblastoma Multiforme is an aggressive tumor in the brain that infiltrates surrounding brain tissue and is the most malignant of brain tumors. Glioblastoma generally has a very poor prognosis, with the average patient surviving just one year after diagnosis. Because of lack of funding, there hasn't been much in the treatment of Glioblastoma brain cancer, so many people die each year from this type of deadly cancer.
Check out the video recap of a bowling event Team Amber, along with The Quiet Storm Foundation, put together for proceeds to benefit brain cancer research.
