Polish National Radio (polskieradio.pl) is one of the strongest radio media in Poland, celebrated its 85th anniversary in 2010.
Czworka – youth orientated Channel 4 of the Polish National Radio (formerly called Radio Bis and Radio Euro) is a place for different vibes and different music:
„JAK MAKEN ZASIAL” SHOW
MAIN PROMO PLATFORM FOR MODERN ETHNO/ REGGAE/DUB MUSIC IN POLAND
For almost 4 years Czworka has also been a place for my show „Jak Maken Zasial” - weekly two hours presentation of original reggae music, dub, dancehall, Jamaica inspired electronic music, modern ethno sounds from all around the world. It has always been a place for premiere presentations, discovering valuable music and promoting unique sounds. Many guests visited the show to speak on their fresh releases and upcoming events. The show soon became major source of information on mentioned musical genres for Polish radio listeners.
I am well known in Poland as DJ Maken for my long-time booking work for many international artists, running the longest existing Polish sound system Joint Venture and my music journalism in many different medias in Poland over the years.
„Jak Maken Zasial” is always on Mondays, 21.00 – 23.00 (GMT+01:00).
The radio signal is broadcasted through a network of local transmitters and reaches the most of the country. Additionally you can always listen/watch Czworka online:
RADIO ON VISION (TV PLATFORM)
Since 19th January 2011 another related project was introduced: Radio on Vision. Audio signal of Czworka is also transmitted live through main Polish digital TV platforms and most cable networks, becoming first Polish Radio TV.
Non-coded TV signal (FTA) of Radio on Vision can be also watched for free worldwide at HotBird satellite (position 130E, KU band). It is broadcasted in 16x9 format and 720x576 resolution.
It will reach thousands of new people but it also has its demands, especially with a pressure to use quality video contents alongside audio material.
Apart from fresh AUDIO releases, always necessary to keep the show fresh and attractive, I desperately need an access to PROMO VIDEO CLIPS (or good quality live clips) that can be presented in my show (minimum DVD resolution, any useable PC or MAC file format, quicktime files preferred) due to introduction of ‘Radio on Vision’ project.
Audio contents are visually supported by the work of a professional VJ - Majonez:
but more clips – more chance for regular broadcast!
