    Very interesting!..

Regarding a name... Well dirtsalad.com is already taken, so umm.. kevvyandtimmy.com is available!.. :D

I'm stumped for serious suggestions! What sums up the topics they (will) cover?

    startup.com or startups.com ??
    upstarts.com ?

Excellent, good stuff, but invest in a few Mic's for the next podcast, I am sure this was impromptu, but the sound was weak at times. Keep it coming!

Angels? Sequoia? I mean I could probably google those words now, but it would've been nice since this is the first episode and all to sort of elaborate what's going on. If there was something in the description about Tim and Kevin talking about early investing and getting in from the ground up, I think it could've helped.

Either way, made it to the end and there are some fantastic tidbits in there (I know you are a fan of the sit and shoot and just talk), but it'd be nice to slice this down to a 5 min. piece of the juicy stuff.

    Nice work :)
  • Jay Neff 2 years ago
slice down to 5min of video? are you kidding me? pffft

Just wanna say this is something the Rev3 shows have been missing recently where Its just the hosts hanging out chatting about something interesting (latest Diggnation with GV was kinda like this as well though and I enjoyed it much more)

It just might be unanimous that Kevin can do no wrong, ever since The Screen Savers.

Great stuff Tim and Kevin. Many things I wished I'd known for my first startup. Hope to hear more. I like the informal chat on a couch format too. Not all produced and over-polished. Also please consider making an audio only version available for download. I like to listen while driving or exercising. Keep it real!

Great insight. Once again proving genuine information rules over polish. Please do more. I want to shrink you both.

  • Gael Ovide-Etienne 2 years ago
Great show, please make more of it.

Here are a few questions I'd ask you or topics I wish you could cover:

    - Inbound marketing technics that you have been using for Digg and the 4HWW project
    - How you organize your business life (and what tools you are using?)
    - Do you really spend time on SEO? Or your popularity is now your asset and you're 'above' SEO
    - In which occasions are you formal wearing suits? ;)
    - How to (really) make the Digg cover page without being a super active member (is it actually possible?)
    - Tim, do you use virtual assistants that manage other VAs?
    - Kevin/Tim, do you think it would have been possible to achieve both Digg and 4HWW outside the valley? Or even, outside the US? For example, in Asia? (I am based in Bangkok by the way).

    Looking forward to more shows!!

I must admit, I was very impressed. More please!!

I really liked hearing how Tim choose his book name, and how Kevin has come up with his app names in the past as well. I've used google adwords to test other theories as well, but would have never placed it with a book title selection, that is a freaking AWESOME idea!

One question, what is the name of the iphone app? I want it!

    Keep them going, interesting content.

Needs better Audio, constantly rewinding to hear domain names mentioned. Wireless mics? better audio won't take away from the casual nature of the show.

Like it. Love it! Great stuff. I love it when people like this share their stories and ideas -- gives me a new perspective and motivation. One question: Do people really click on AdWords listings? I don't.

I really like this. I don't have any constructive input, but I thought I'd comment anyway in the hopes that you'll get enough comments to make you excited about making more instalments.

I love how I feel like I'm learning trade secrets, and really getting an insight into the business world. Really makes me excited and psyched to be the best I can in order to make it into your worlds (I mean that in a career way, rather than a stalker way).

    Great minds, no question.
One suggestion when editing: run it by topics and play with the sequences a bit more. 30 minutes is way too long. 10-15 should be the max for a straighforward interview that features the 4 or 5 great ideas it has to communicate.
