On October 27, 2011, Taner Kodanaz, director of philanthropy and corporate social responsibility for Promethean, joined the Central Florida community at the grand opening of Lake Nona’s newest residential community, Laureate Park. Through its innovative partnership with Lake Nona, Laureate Park will feature state-of-the-art learning technologies from Promethean, a global leader in interactive classroom technology. Through this collaborative venture, Lake Nona will become a model for how interactive learning technologies, such as the interactive white board, can be leveraged to create a community where classrooms, offices and homes are able to seamlessly collaborate. Creating this new interconnected community will give its residents, students and onsite employees increased access to the latest in 21st century learning tools, giving Lake Nona the ability to become one of the first fully integrated educational communities.
