This is a 5 minute tour of the Virtual Field School Project created by a collaboration between the Geography and Instructional Technologies Departments of Texas State University - San Marcos.
Virtual Field School is intended to simulate the El Cerrito village located in New Mexico. El Cerrito is notable for its well preserved Hispanic culture, village layout and historic significance.
Dr Brock Brown, Robyn Herry, Emin Saglamer and Steve Lux have worked on this project between 2010-2011 creating multiple versions in Second Life, Unity Engine, Google Earth for a comparative research project.
In this video we cover only the Second Life version.
