Just a quick chat with MTV where I learned that on some of their flagship shows they actually use two camera crews, one filming for TV, the other filming for the web and mobile. It works out cheaper to use two dedicated crews (web has more close-ups, especially now that TV is shooting for HD and not zooming in so much.
