Sarah Lacy and I took a private tour of Jerusalem on our first day in Israel just before Kinnernet 2009. As we stood along the eastern side of the Old City, our tour guide Tikva Levine was giving us the overview of that particular side of the city.

As we stood there, the call to prayer from an array of minarets scattered about the hillside began. As one chant rose and fell, another began ... echoing off the ancient hillsides.
