Mission Trails Regional Park is an international bio-gem, one of the largest urban parks in the USA, located just outside downtown San Diego. It is also recognized for its historical significance . The Kumeyaay Indians once dwelled here, leaving scattered artifacts. Now some people want to construct a power plant there. The “Quail Brush Power Plant” (11-AFC-03) would violate numerous land use plans/regulations and would be an unacceptable eyesore and health risk to Santee and Tierrasanta. High noise levels would destroy the tranquility of a regional asset – Mission Trails Regional Park. It must be rejected.
Sincerely,
