Interesante, estaba pensando si valía la pena comprar una... Pero la imagen que compresión lleva? y puede tirar a 24 o 25 fps o sólo a 30?

Muchas gracias sombra, me lo imaginaba...para hacer cosas en PAL estás un poco jodido. Y aguanta bien el buffer? Hasta cuantos segundos graba seguido?

En cuanto a PAL, de toda la vida se han grabado cosas en USA, por ejemplo, a 30 fps y se han convertido a 25. Es verdad que es un poco una jodienda, pero hay que vivir con ello!
Lo máximo seguido que graba son 14 minutos en una trajeta de 4 gigas. En una de 8 gigas puedes hacr dos tomas de 14 minutos cada.
Perdona mi ignorancia, pero a que te refieres con lo del buffer?

Pues sí: una jodienda pero hay cosas peores. No está nada mal 14 minutos ininterrumpidos. El buffer es una memoria "colchón" de la cámara que te permite seguir tirando mientras pasa los datos a la tarjeta. Por ejemplo si tiras muchas fotos seguidas a máxima calidad en algún momento se llena el buffer y tienes que esperar antes de tirar más mientras la lucecita roja parpadea. Eso es el buffer. Gracias por la info!

ISO was set at 500. I can´t really remember the aperture but the lens max. is 4.0 so you can imagine.

Don't know if Scarlet will produce images with this depth of field. The sensor of 5DMK2 it's bigger than the Scarlet 2/3 at least. So I can imagine that only Scarlet S35 and higher will be better, but can't say the same for the 2/3. The good thing about Scarlet 2/3, it shots 3K at 120 fps. It looks very nice for Slow Motion. But think that in the end will be a little higher in price than buy an 5d.

With Scarlet you will have to buy an output module, an Hard Drive, LCD or View Finder and lenses... Well, it's another kind of camera. Would only buy the 2/3 if I need it to shot Slow Motion... anything else would be Scarlet S35. =) And for my low low budget hollywood films, an 5d =)
