Lois Gibbs ( video clip from the Toxics Action Center Boston 2012conference) gives tips on how to win your community struggle against large corporations and government bureaucracy. Gibbs first started community organizing when she was a 27 year old housewife who discovered that her child was attending school built atop a chemical dump. "Her successful efforts to evacuate over 800 families and clean up the Love Canal neighborhood eventually led to the federal creation of the Superfund program."
