From the Oort cloud, the outer most reaches of our solar system thought to be inhabited by millions of small icy bodies, we pass through dazzling images of the familiar planets, watching as they orbit and rotate. Next, we pause at the Sun, then go back out to Earth and experience the incredible simulated impact of a Mars sized object colliding with the Earth, melting Earth’s surface and spewing debris back out into space, eventually coalescing to form our Moon. (Music “Trip to the Sun” by David Grinspoon)
