I wanted to protest my feelings towards the government and capture the environment of the day.

After the police interfered, the peaceful atmosphere turned and riots broke out.

I was silently protesting peacefully and managed to get hit 3 times by a bat. On the leg, arm and ribs. They also punched us with the shields knocking people to the floor.

When the police charged the protesters into the square we were kept there for just over 4 hours with no food or water.

i got blocked in around 3ish and was finally let out by 8.45pm.

i don't really blame the police but the situation could of been handled differently.
