Some constructive criticism though:
1. Most of the scenes that nothing happens are a bit too long. If this was a regular TV episode or movie it would have been much more trimmed down. Now, you can argue that this is not TV/cinema, but same rules apply as the internet population is even less patient than TV audience. The intro "TV interview" was too long as well and the actress needed more speed and speech punch to deliver the "news". Overall, I think that this 15:10 video should have been edited at around 12:00 ideally.
2. Many scenes feel "bare" because of the lack of background music. Some scenes do have music, but some other scenes require some too.
3. The audio levels are still low IMHO. Especially when Sean talks to his friend at work at around 13:00.
Overall, this is the best thing I have ever seen coming out of these cams, and for that budget in general! Congrats! Keep it coming!
Eugenia - I agree whole heartedly with much of your criticism. There's several things i would change but at this at time we look at condition:human as a learning experience. Sadly, i think in some ways i spread myself thin on the project and it's reflected in some of the 'rough areas'. It's something we'll certainly attempt to rectify in future episodes and projects!
Thanks so much for your support!

I also thought it was shot with EX1 or EX3...
Are you guys from Vancouver Art School?
Janusz - Kristian attended VFS for film production I think. But no we're not affiliated with them now. It's a good school from what I've heard though ;)
The lack of real backgrounds adds to the feeling of emptyness and superficiality, a little bit like the world of Equilibrium. For Blade Runner there is not enough trash and rain. ;)
I'm looking forward to Episode 2!
Where can I get production notes for this project?
Perry - it was shot with an HV30. There's a tutorial on binarycrumbs.com as to how one of the train shots was made! Other than that there are a few behind the scenes videos around.
I admire the attention to the details, the good looking cast and the overall cinematic delivery.
In other words - I'm hooked!
I'm inclined to disagree with the comments saying it is too slow. The temptation in films is always to speed things up but I like the relaxed pace. It allows the viewer to take in everything. The environment, the speech, the music.
Keep us waiting, I say.
Can't wait till the next episode. Well, actually, I can. That's part of the enjoyment!
Unfortunately episode 2 will be slightly delayed as there was some computer problems that stopped me from getting the ep completed on schedule. We'll get it out there as soon as possible and we intend to keep our schedule with all future episodes (hopefully no further problems occur).
On a side note, the video was a bit pixely in the dark areas so i wanted to download the video and watch on my tv or something, but I can't seem to get the link to work. Can anyone help me out? Appreciate it
Marco - thanks!
Hardware:
We used a canon HV30 to shoot it. Our greenscreen consists of two pieces of felt from a local fabric store (they are 4 yards long 6 feet wide). For lights we have 5 worklights (flourescent) from canadian tire (kinda like target). We also use a homemade dolly with skateboard wheels and PVC pipe unfortunately we only have 10' of pipe and we shoot in my living room so we can't move much.
Software:
Everything in post is done in after effects CS3 aside from the creation of CG backdrops which is done in 3d Studio Max. I then use Premiere to cut it together. Sound is mixed in Premiere :( Soundtrack is recorded in Garage Band.
If you have any other questions feel free to drop me some mail!
