The Science Alberta Foundation approached Studio Dialog with a challenge: create a video promoting science-based careers in pipelines that would appeal to high school students. Studio Dialog took this project from conception to completion starting with researching its target audience, Generation Z. From there, a series of stories was created that would all be told through the use of motion-graphics. We chose not to shoot live action so that students wouldn’t judge the individuals shown. The result is a vibrant piece weaving together pipeline careers with science education.
