Thank you! Appreciate it VERY much! and for those who don't understand amharic, let me translate...

    Without looking deeply into myself
To see my heart’s true desires
Without understanding my gifts and my dreams
So much time has passed in my confusion

Hiding myself for fear of what they’d say
Undermining my wants and my wishes
Time in its miracle keeps flying away
How many chances were lost, while I stifled my potential?

Saying if I had done that, if I’d said this
If I had gone there, if I had left it alone
Instead of living in a world of regrets
Let’s know ourselves and live our truths!

So that our lives may bloom and we succeed
So that we may give light once we are lit
Let’s search our selves and take pride in our inner wealth
And use the time we are given wisely

So that we may see with our eyes our dreams realized
Our hope giving life and bearing new seeds
Even when the challenges are many, let’s take heart and have faith
And keep moving forward; we only have on life to live!

Saying if I had done that, if I’d told him this
If I had gone there, if I had left it alone
Instead of living in a world of regrets
Let’s know ourselves and live our truths!

What a fun little indie video. I enjoyed the music and the video style was engaging with a simplistic elegance that I connected to. I especially liked the traditional Ethiopian dancing near the end with the two dressed in contemporary western cloths. Keep manifesting, it seems you are having fun and pushing the edge.

I just read your question in Arefe`s blog. A friend of us who had studied with you is Ariele Foster. She has a count in flickr, perhaps you can remember her is you see her face. Her couple is a ethiopian man (Yonas). Very cool people

C-U-T-E...very nice song and fun video. Well done, friend. Only wish I knew what Noro meant. It is not clear from the translation which word that is. Guess I will have to learn Amharic.
