On March 17th, 2012, I was peering out the window of a loft I was leasing on Spring Street. I saw a green, leafy tree waving in the wind. My 7D had previously been in hibernation. This lovely tree was a catalyst.
When I approached the tree, the wind stopped and it looked like there was going to be very little movement of the branches. Interestingly, as soon as I hit the record button, the wind magically picked up. Before I pointed my lens at the tree, no one seemed to notice this one from the rest. But, as I squatted down and opened up the 7D's lens, a small group of people stopped to watch me record the tree.
