2. Power Glove 20th Anniversary Edition -- Build Video
2 years ago
I'm a video game developer by day and love playing with esoteric peripherals. I modded a Nintendo Power Glove, originally released in 1989 for the NES. I replaced the ultrasonic sensors with an accelerometer, wired connection with Bluetooth, and original microncontroller with an Arduino.
Blog post explaining why I did this: biphenyl.org/blog/2009/04/03/the-power-glove-20th-anniversary-edition/

Thanks! It's a fantastic job, I love almost every day of it. Stressful as hell occasionally, but fantastically rewarding.

Matt, you have had many compliments! I am very impressed with this hack. I will follow all your instructions carefully and see where it goes. I am convinced it's worth the effort you put into this instruction set to give it go.
Tkanks for making it public and free.
