This is the result of emitting emFluid data from a grid with pretty much default settings. Detail enhancement was switched on. I then cached out the grids and loaded them onto a geometry primitive using Holger's BA_Fluid loader.

To get a single, static frame of fluid I dragged the current frame expression onto the scene start expression and then appended " - 339" so that frame 340 of the cached fluid grid would be used throughout the animation. I then shaded it based on a gradient of colours sampled from a nebula photo off the net.

Apart from the start as the camera flies through the nebula, I could of used a still frame mapped onto a card! Ah well, it was more of an exercise to figure out how to use one frame of a cached out grid sequence.

Now if only I could get a more stable, less jittery parallax stars....
