twoneil 9 months agoI use the same crappy tripod and used some newspapers on the bottom hehe.. I was trying to do a good dolly shot. You can see that there is a nudge when I changed direction. Hope it's fairly convincing. -

Javed 8 months agoWow! Pretty neat, I didn't realise at first, but you're not actually pulling focus are you? The DoF is so shallow that a little dolly movement causes focal point to change from one object to the next quite instantly. Or am I wrong? -
twoneil 8 months agoYup, it's all dolly movement. I did not pull focus; the focus of the lens is fixed.
