This year was my first Relay for Life, and I did it with some people who are special to me. Our University of Ottawa Science team was one of many teams at this special U of O version of the Canadian Cancer Society's annual event. This was especially dear to our team this year, because our team captain recently lost her mother to cancer. The night started at 7pm with heart-touching stories and tears, and ended at 7am with laughter (and some tired students), with a little bit of snoozing and snacking in between.

This video is dedicated to Melissa K. and Spencer M., and to the UOttawa Science team. But it is for anyone who is dealing with cancer in the lives of themselves, their family, or their friends.
