Muni is San Francisco's public transit system. This year it turns 100! On April 5th a ceremony was held to mark the occasion, which included Senator Dianne Feinstein and Mayor Ed Lee, and Rick Laubscher of Market Street Railway, among others. Mayor Lee and others piloted old "Number One", the first Muni streetcar, back on to the system. The car was recently restored to its former glory, and will be running on Muni's "F-Line" this year!
Here you'll see the SFPD providing a motorcycle escort for the assorted dignitaries and political donors to the Mayor's "Super PAC".
