A movie for the production "Desert Highway" that dance company "Club Guy & Roni" from Groningen / Netherlands created, for the celebration of the 395th birthday of the Groningen University.
Performed twice (26 & 27 march 2009), this movie continued the live action of a dancer (Igor Podsiadly) leaving the stage, followed by a live camera.

The switch from live to prerecorded is at a bathroom door of the Groningen concert hall "Oosterport"; this is where this movie came in.

For this version however, I compressed the 3-minutes-odyssey thru the oosterpoort at the beginning of the sequence (which hopefully still seemed "live" to the audience) to 45 seconds.

In the oosterpoort performance, the piece "Salve Regina" by Arvo Pärt was performed by a live church organ and choir, starting at the same moment as in this version; in the live performance, I had to manually give the cuepoints (with a custom Max patch) to adjust for the tempo variations.
