This video provides an overview of the 5-day intensive Media Literacy Summer Institute held at Ithaca College every summer. The Media Literacy Summer Institute is an intensive, week-long media literacy course for teachers, support staff, college faculty, and other professionals working with students in an educational setting. Participants receive training in the theory and practice of media literacy, learn applications for digital technology, and work individually with a Project Look Sharp "coach" to develop and implement a media literacy integration project.
Go to projectlooksharp.org for more information about the project and to download free media literacy and critical thinking lesson plans.
