In Japan, people don’t jaywalk. When the odd person does, they are frowned upon. Even when there are no cars coming, in one of the busiest shopping districts of Tokyo, everyone obediently waits on the sidewalk. When the signal turns green, a hoard of pedestrians is unleashed upon the crosswalks. It’s quite a sight.
I took shots from afar and from within the sea of humanity at a crossing in Shibuya on Jingu-dori and at the famous Shibuya Crossing. I took other street crossing video in Shinjuku, Tokyo and Namba, Osaka, but I'll upload those later.
