It is always exciting to work with high school sweethearts. Michelle and David have been together for 14 years and we are honored to have witnessed and be a part of their special day.
The day started with a traditional tea ceremony at Michelle’s house up in the Evergreen hills. During the tea ceremony, the bride’s family sang a traditional Vietnamese hymn as a group. It was quite an experience since this was the first time we witnessed this kind of ceremonial singing during a tea ceremony. The blessings and best wishes continued on at David’s house where another tea ceremony took place.
Michelle and David also had a Catholic ceremony at the St.Josephs Cathedral in San Jose that was followed by a reception at the San Jose Women’s Club. The reception hall was elegantly decorated. The drapes that lined the walls of the hall gave an intimate warm feeling while the uplights, peach colored flowers, and candle lights tied the room together. Their guests were also treated with live music from a pianist who played songs during the cocktail hour, an ice sculpture with changing LED lights, and fun photo booth for the guests to enjoy. They did a fantastic job in not only putting the details together but also making sure that their guests were entertained. We are sure that the guests had as much fun as we did filming their wedding.
Thank you Michelle and David for allowing us capture the moments of the day!
