Congratulations to Kelly English, a great chef and a really stand-up guy. Had the good fortune to actually cook with him in the prep kitchen at Restaurant August for John Besh a couple of winters ago.

Also very glad to see Chef Naomi get the nod, after opening doors with Fambly Supper and then enduring some tough times and coming back strong. Keep cooking MIGHTILY, Naomi!

And speaking of rough times, very glad to see Paul Liebrandt kicking ASS as Corton and getting the recognition for it. It makes things much easier when Drew Nieporent is in your corner, but Chef Paul is taking that gift horse and running like hell with it.
