Southern California has some of the most boring cloud formations around. That's why I was caught off guard this evening when I was throwing the trash to see this amazing sunset taking place. I ran inside to get the camera and drove to the nearest open field to capture the moment. I wish I would have thrown the trash ten minutes earlier because I was only able to capture the tail end of it.
I was in such a hurry to get the shot I forgot to turn off the auto white balance and I started getting bad flickering throughout the last four seconds. I used Virtual Dubs, MSU deflicker plug-in to help mask the problem. The shot's about ten seconds long and was shot at a two second interval.
