The North American Snowkite Tour is a group of snowkiters that gather each year to travel the US and promote their growing sport. This year Black Owl was hired to cover the tour end to end, creating vignettes on each tour stop. This particular segment was from Dillon, CO where grim conditions kept the tour close to the lodge. Luckily the wind picked up every few days in which case we would run out to Lake Dillon and cruise around the flats. Shot on RED on a very frozen Lake Dillon, this is an illustration of the more serene side of snowkiting.
