The rural glory of New Mexico is continually being captured through the lens of photographer Aggie Villanueva.
She describes her own work as a depiction of truth, strength, purity and beauty that might otherwise be overlooked. Her stunning photography paints a sometimes gritty and sometimes sorrowful picture of all that is the rural back-bone of the American Southwest, but artistically brings to life her deep belief that there is beauty and truth in everything we are able to perceive, whether through naked eye or through the medium of photography. Aggie is a natural-born story teller who has been dubbed by her peers as the Grandma Moses of the American Southwest.
