Eressos for Animals is a Not for Profit organisation that provides welfare, shelter and rehoming services for stray and abandoned dogs and cats. They also organise neutering programmes several times a year to help curb the number of strays in the local area. In the summer of 2012 four enthusiastic young veterinarian graduates from Bristol University arrived in Eressos to work on one of the neutering programmes. This film shows the young vets doing their invaluable work in this new and challenging environment, while Gerbien Fricke from Eressos for Animals explains why the neutering programmes are so important for the welfare of animals and people in the local area.
