On their way to the plane graveyard. No pearly gates here...just sad cast iron fences and barbed wire.

Proof that even man's greatest achievements come falling down as the evolution of technology flies higher and higher...

This is the shorter, nicer version.

Always a pleasure to watch! As I said earlier, you've got a great eye, and do wonderful post work! MBL?

Thank you so much! What's MBL?

Magic Bullet Looks... just wondering how you colored the video. It's a plugin that does post work. But I'm guessing that since you didn't know it right off the bat, you most likely didn't use it :)

Either way, your video looks great, per usual. If I had money, I'd hire you.

Oh, haha. I just use regular color correction, brightness/contrast adjustments and stuff like that. I really appreciate the comment!

Great. A simple idea, why didn't I think of it? I loved it. Thanks Matthew, I have been inspired to look up!

  • I almost had 'enough' just after the 1:00 minute mark after my eyes had watered under the culmination of images and music. A piece I am very fond of.

This film reminds me of when I look up into the sky and watch a plane on a sunny day wondering if the plane will land safely, or is it just making its way to another place.

A provocation of mixed feelings and emotions. I thoroughly enjoyed that, thanks.

That is some pretty powerful stuff. I'm glad it evoked some intense emotions from you! Thank you so much for checking it out.

  • You are doing wonderful work.
Cinematograpy, edit, color grading, music, all outstanding.
I would agree with Edward, too long.
But it can see how it's tough because you have beautiful images you'd have to edit out.

Excellent... I assume this was processed in Vegas too? Another question: who performs this (vocal) version of the Adagio (normally for strings :-) ?

  • This video is so poetic! It made me think about old trips (not tourist style trips, but trips of transformation, transitions). It`s melancholic, nostalgic, intense, beautiful.

I don't agree with Steve Weiss about the length. I think it's perfect this way. At least for a brazilian eye...

Great video Matt, I really like this one just like the others. If you have a chance, could you view my video "Park" and give me just some brief pointers? I am trying to learn. Thanks.

I love adagio for strings, this theme is great. I think it you could cut something good to some of Edvard Grieg"s stuff, like Peer Gynt, symphonic dance number 2. The color correcting works perfectly.

    Hi again,

There have been so many crashes lately, the worse perhaps AirFrance out of Brazil ... ... your iron fence fennials(sp?) (tops of fences), perhaps those of a small cemetary?

There was a crash outside of Detroit Metropolitan years ago ... everyone di... except a single female baby - called a miracle.
