"Silkscreens" follows the choreography of printmakers at work, pulling the edition of Jasper Johns’s print, "The Dutch Wives." Johns himself does not appear in this film.
A print of "The Dutch Wives" was on view from May 22—August 18, 2012 at the Harvard Art Museums/Arthur M. Sackler Museum as part of the exhibition "Jasper Johns / In Press: The Crosshatch Works and the Logic of Print".
