    This is great! How much time went into creating each new design, did you go through several prototypes refining each pattern or was it pretty strait forward, this looks to be one of those things that is deceptively simple in appearance but is technically difficult to create?

    thanks.

    the whole process of finding the idea, designing and building took 4,5 months. as you were guessing, i had to build about 3-7 prototypes for each pop-up. at a certain point it's quite impossible to calculate the differents parts of the paper mechanics, so it's more like an trail&error method.
