Winter light in the Pacific Northwest is extremely changeable - from brooding and stormy to sudden flashes of golden clarity. Seattle, especially when we are under the jet stream, tends to have about four seasons every day. In many ways, it's more like mountain light, even though it is at sea level. This video is the result of about 3000 still shots from two Canon cameras, sometimes shooting simultaneously. Most of it was shot one lucky afternoon, when, against all odds, the sun made it through the clouds just at sunset... I hope you all enjoy it !
