Liberal-tarianism: Or why liberal-libertarian alliances are so important and how to build bridges to advance liberty
In an examination of the liberal/libertarian overlap, Zach will discuss both the specific issues where he sees potential for collaboration and coalition building as well as general philosophical agreements (and differences!) between the two schools of thought. Further, he hopes to facilitate discussion about both the role government plays in correcting market failures and what exactly this ubiquitous phrase, "market failures," actually means to real people. Finally, he'll talk with his fellow students about the best ways of leveraging what power we have, both as voters and as young people, to advance the cause of liberty.
