Bob Kronbauer, founder of VancouverIsAwesome.com, one of BC's most popular websites was the speaker at the April 13th, 2012 CreativeMornings/Vancouver event sponsored by ARC'TERYX and hosted by W2 Media Café & GDC/BC.
Kronbauer gave an unexpected talk about how fishing not only inspired his creativity, but even helped heal eye disease brought on from a high stress work life. He went on to share stories about how creativity and problem solving can be found everywhere if we step out of our comfort zone and look a little deeper, even in salmon and sturgeon conservation efforts.
The Vancouver chapter of CreativeMornings is run by Mark Busse (@MarkBusse) and his dedicated team of volunteers.
Thanks to Ryan Mah (@Unisonpress), Mahyar Saeedi (@MahyarSaeedi), Jake Hermiston and Matthew Shettler for video production.
CreativeMornings is a monthly breakfast lecture series for creative types. Each event is free of charge, and includes a 20 minute talk, plus coffee! (creativemornings.com)
