I've seen this Californian firm at trade exhibitions before, but this time they had a rather convincing live demo which also included a side-by-side challenge using their competitor's technology. Some mobile phones now have two microphones inside plus some clever software to eliminate the background noise. Though some of the others in the Blackberry was certainly better than nothing, the difference with the audience solution was remarkable. They had an iPod on the stand playing back all kinds of traffic noise, and were using different phones to let visitors hear the difference. Personally, I am still waiting for the mobile phone which records in high quality and then sends it back to the studio.
